An intricately painted rabbit. Specifically, a Nuttall’s cottontail, found in the mountain regions and plains of Canada. The painting began with washes of warm brown, umber and grey colours and delicate details were achieved with many tiny watercolour brushstrokes.
The original painting has been reproduced into prints that capture the warm palette and fine detail of the rabbit's fur.
