Laquice's image is a reproduction of a uniquely handcrafted, 3 dimensional Faerie made almost entirely from preserved flowers and found natural treasures. My Faeries represent an unusual and innovative use of flora and fauna as a media for my art sculptures, imbibing each piece with the essence of each carefully preserved and treasured flower and leaf.
The process I have used gives the images a real depth and 3D feel, giving a first impression of real flowers on the print.
Laquice was created primarily from wild grass, hellebore, clematis, columbine, spanish moss, leaves, peach pit, and statice in Victoria, BC.
